One of the most influential bands of their generation and beyond, The Jesus and Mary Chain marked their 40th anniversary in 2024 with a new album, Glasgow Eyes. This was the band’s first studio album since Damage And Joy (2017). The band formed in East Kilbride, Scotland in 1983 and revolves around the songwriting partnership of brothers Jim and William Reid, who are the two founding members of the band. The band have had twelve top 40 entries and two top 10 hits in the UK singles chart in their career.
The Damned are true punk and Goth-Rock icons. With 12 studio albums – including the era-defining Damned Damned Damned – and several UK chart singles under their belts, the legends mark their 50th anniversary with a new tour and album. Released on Friday January 23, Not Like Everybody Else is a deeply personal and celebratory covers album dedicated to the memory of Brian James, the band's legendary founding guitarist who died in 2025.
